Dance a Story!

Wednesday afternoons, at The Center Dance Studio.
It’s the perfect cure for that mid-week slump.

Turning Pages (45 minutes, grades K-1) introduces students to the language of dance, inviting them to explore movement in a creative, nurturing environment. Through “movement narratives,” students enact compelling stories and poems, embodying the characters that enchant and intrigue them. Guided improvisations, informed by our students’ own literary imaginations, are another staple of this course. An informal sharing of our work will take place at the end of the session.

Classes meet each Wednesday from 4:30-5:15 PM.
Winter/Spring ’17 Session begins January 25th.

  1. looks like a very well structured dance module. having been looking for something interesting like this for my kid. exploring movement in a creative manner sounds very interesting and i think the kids would enjoy that a lot.
