Perch & Swoop – Trial Class August 16th!
Join us at The Center Dance Studio on Wednesday, August 16th at 9:30 AM for a free trial class of Perch & Swoop!
A once-weekly class for toddlers and their caregivers, Perch & Swoop offers the best of The Center’s Pre-K creative movement curriculum, bookended by art activities, a wholesome snack, and play time.
Recommended for toddlers 18 months – 4 years (10% sibling discount available; siblings under 18 months may attend at no extra charge).
Fridays, 9:30 AM – 12PM
Our first 6-week session runs September 8th – October 13th.
Tuition is $160 for 6 weeks.

Kate Martel, NYC-based dancer, choreographer and educator, is relocating to the Pioneer Valley and will begin teaching at The Center this fall. We can’t wait!

Class Description
Beginning/Intermediate Modern Technique
In this class we will learn and experiment with fundamental concepts of modern dance. We will drop, roll, swing, suspend, jump and twist. Structured movement exercises will develop coordination, strength, mobility and musicality. We will also learn how to locomote in a variety of ways, then we will make up our own.
Cost is $15. Contact us to register by phone/email. We anticipate that these classes will fill up quickly, so don’t wait!

Dance Around the World!
No airfare? No problem!
This summer, your child can dance around the world without boarding one plane. At The Center’s Dance Around the World summer program, kids will learn traditional and contemporary dance styles from across the globe. Each day will land us on a different continent, where we’ll explore the music, literature, art and cuisine from different countries. Be sure to pack a bathing suit!

Fairies & Folklore!
Add some MAGIC to your child’s summer…
At our “Fairies & Folklore” summer dance program, kids will read classic fairy tales, write their own, and DANCE them all! We’ll build gnome homes, brew ambrosia, scribble spells, and maybe even meet some water nymphs at the town pool. Spots are going fast – reserve yours now!
